PSG predicted lineup VS Monaco – League 1

•          PSG travel to Monaco to extend their lead at the top of Ligue 1

•          Luis Enrique’s side won 5-2 against Parc des Princes

•          KylianMbappe and OusmaneDembele are between those guaranteed to beginning.

Paris Saint-Germain face a potentially canning trip to Monaco on Friday, but the French protector travel to the Stade Louis II with a huge lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

The capital side have an 11-point advantage over second-placed Brest and can afford many slip-ups for the rest of the season without surrendering top spot. One such banana skin could be Monaco, who are currently third in the table.

Monaco have been consistent in front of goal this term and with PSG’s many defensive doubts heading into the reigns, Luis Enrique will also have to keep a close eye on Tuesday’s Champions League last 16 second leg in opposition to Real Sociedad.

GK: GianluigiDonnarumma – The Italian has put in some hit and miss displays for PSG this season, but Enrique is without doubt number one with 29 appearances to his name. He is likely to undergo a routine examination on Friday.

RB: AchrafHakimi – The Moroccan has been in grand form since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations and is a constant attack threat down the right flank. He has already scored three Ligue 1 goals in just 17 games from right-back.

CB: Danilo Pereira – With PresnelKimpembe sidelined and Milan Skriniar and Marquinhos in doubt for Monaco, the Portuguese centre-back could be used by Enrique. He has started PSG’s last five matches keeping two clean sheets.

CB: Lucas Beraldo – The young Brazilian has seen regular minutes since arriving in Paris as a January signing, making a total of ten appearances already. The 20-year-old is impressive given his inexperience and will need to be sharp to deal with FolarinBalogun and Wissam Ben Yedder.

LB: Lucas Hernandez – Nuno Mendes played his first minutes since last April against Rennes last weekend, but Enrique will want to be careful when reintegrating him into the team. As a result, Hernandez should retain his place at left-back.

PSG predicted lineup VS Monaco

CM: Vitinha – A fine presence in the PSG midfield who provides real dynamism going forward. Should watch after three consecutive starts against Monaco, but Enrique has a plethora of options in his engine room.

CM: Fabian Ruiz – other good operator in PSG’s midfield, the Spaniard has been a regular under Enrique this season and is impossible to be left out on Friday.

CM: Warren Zaire-Emery – Monaco’s attacking qualities may lead to his replacement with the more defensive-minded Manuel Ugart, but the youngster rarely disappoints when called upon.

RW: OusmaneDembele – The Frenchman hasn’t been flawless since moving to PSG in the summer, but he has shown flashes of his talent in recent weeks with two assists in his last five games.

ST: Randal KoloMuani – Similarly to Dembele, his return to France was not all smooth sailing. The World Cup finalists are currently averaging a goal every three games, hardly a surprise goal for PSG, but Monaco may be given another chance from the start.

LW: KylianMbappe – The superstar may not be at PSG for long, but they’ll enjoy him while he’s there.

PSG predicted lineup VS Monaco

What did French President Emmanuel Macron say to KylianMbappe before leaving PSG?

PrisnelKimpembe is missing for the capital side, while Milan Skriniar and Marquinhos are both doubtful with minor injury concerns. However, with the likes of Lucas Beraldo and Danilo Pereira, PSG have some cover.

Levin Kurzawa is also absent at left-back, while Sergio Rico is out for the next month or so with a head injury.

Monaco vs PSG Lineup Predictions

PSG Predicted Lineup vs Monaco (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Hakimi, Pereira, Beraldo, Hernandez; Vitinha, Ruiz, Zaire-Emery; Dembele, KoloMwani, Mbappe.

Monaco vs PSG Score Prediction:

It’s hard to bet against PSG this season given their absolute dominance in Ligue 1, their recent form has been excellent. Enrique’s men have lost just once in 23 league matches this season, five of their last seven in France’s top flight.

Friday’s hosts have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 12 matches in all competitions, not exactly the best sign ahead of Mbappe’s visit.
