Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks

Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks-On Thursday, the Philadelphia 76ers will host the New York Knicks for Game 3 of the first round of the playoffs at the Wells Fargo Center. Having already lost the first two matches of this series, the hosts will be relieved. Nick Nurse’s men must return home to keep their hopes alive.

They fought hard in Game 2 but fell behind in a 104-101 win for the Knicks. It was another exceptional double-double from Josh Hart and a stellar performance from Jalen Brunson that dimmed the Sixers’ hopes. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey stepped up to the occasion but it wasn’t enough on the night.

The Knicks will be without Julius Randle with a shoulder injury, but now Mitchell Robinson is questionable with an ankle problem. Robert Covington will be out for the 76ers, but D’Anthony Melton is likely and could play his first game as early as April 14. Joel Embiid is questionable with injury reports regarding his knee problem, but I obviously hope he plays considering he does. Well played through already.

Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks Prediction

I seriously considered the Knicks and Free Points because you could argue they are better teams. Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks -The Knicks have won 3 straight basketball games against the 76ers and 7 of the last 10 games overall. Embiid is also dealing with knee and eye issues. With that said, the 76ers should have won 2 games on the road, but strange things happened in the final minutes.

Also, the 76ers had a chance to win Game 1, but Josh Hart was shooting unreal from deep. At home, the 76ers should be more comfortable, as that’s where 26 of their 48 wins have come. The 76ers have done a great job of making things difficult for Brunson, and I doubt the Knicks’ role players bail him out on the road. I’ll be siding with the 76ers in game 3.
