The Indian shuttlers will continue their action in the Asian leg of the BWF World Tour 2024 with the Malaysia Masters, starting on Tuesday (May 21) at the Aziata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Malaysia Masters, which is a Super 500 tournament, will start with qualification and first-round matches on May 21 and 22, followed by the second round, quarter-finals, semi-finals on subsequent days and the final on Sunday (May 28).
Established in 2009, the 12th edition of the tournament will feature a total of 80 singles players and 102 doubles teams from across the world, including 10 singles and 7 doubles teams from India. The Indian team will be hoping to land their fifth title at the event.
PV Sindhu, Asmita Chaliha, Pradhan Hooda, Akarshi Kashyap and Kiran George will be among the single shuttlers representing India at the Malaysia Masters 2024. The event will also see the likes of Viktor Axelsen, Han Yu and Wang Zhi among others in action.
