College Basketball Transfer Portal 2024-Here are Portal’s best transfers so far in college basketball’s 2024 offseason
Harvard transfer Malik Mack announced his commitment to Georgetown on Wednesday, giving second-year coach Ed Cooley an important building block as he looks to rebuild the Hoas after a disappointing three-year stretch for a historically proud program. A 6-foot-1 guard, Mack averaged 17.2 points and 4.8 assists per game for the Crimson while starting 24 games his freshman season. Georgetown also has a transfer commitment from former Texas Tech and TCU wing Micah Peavy, a high-impact defender with four seasons of Big 12 experience.
College Basketball Transfer Portal 2024-The Spring Portal window runs from March 18 to May 1. However, players who have entered the portal by then will not face a firm deadline on when they must commit. Additionally, players affected by graduate transfers and coaching changes occurring after May 1 will be able to transfer after the deadline. Players entering the NBA Draft will have until 11:59 p.m. Eastern will withdraw on May 29 if they wish to return to college for the 2024-25 season.

College Basketball Transfer Portal 2024:
1. Janelle Davis
Old school: FAU
Davis was instrumental in leading FAU to the 2023 Final Four and built on his breakout season in 2023-24, raising his scoring average to 18.2 points. The 6-4 guard hit 41.4% of his 3-pointers, pulled down 6.3 rebounds and averaged 1.4 steals for the Owls in his fourth season of college basketball. With 108 starts for a premier program under his belt, the former five-star prospect is one of the top names this cycle.
5. AJ Storr
Old School: Wisconsin
Storr provided a significant boost to the offense for Wisconsin in the 2023-24 season, averaging 16.8 points. The 6-6 wing is a multi-level scorer with the size needed to finish in the paint and around the rim basketball game (College Basketball Transfer Portal 2024). If surrounded with other dynamic playmakers who can share the offensive load, it allows Storr to increase his efficiency after shooting 43.4% from the floor for the Badgers.
6. Mark Mitchell
Old school: Duke

He’s a big addition to the Texas team’s top four scorers.
10. Say Omar
Old school: Arizona
Balo’s size at 7-foot and 260 pounds makes him a tough player for opponents to handle. He averaged 12.9 points and 10.1 rebounds on 65.8% shooting for Arizona in 2023-24. But he’s a productive bruiser with a proven track record in an elite program.
11. DJ Wagner
Old School: Kentucky
According to 247Sports, Wagner finished the 2023 recruiting cycle ranked as the No. 6 high school prospect in the nation. He showed flashes of his elite potential during an SEC All-Freshman campaign at Kentucky but was inconsistent, shooting just 40.5% from the floor and 29.2% from 3-point range. 12. Robbie Avila
Old School: Indiana State
Avila became a college basketball cult hero while earning All-MVC honors as a sophomore.
